We believe that you still remember pleasant moments from the European Youth Olympic Festival Banská Bystrica 2022, where volunteers were one of the faces of this largest multi-sport event in the history of the Slovak Republic. At the end of July 2022, more than 1,000 volunteers from Slovakia and other countries met in Banská Bystrica, and thanks to their work and determination, the event was a huge success.
Speakers at the conference will emphasize the importance of volunteering, its connection to the areas of sustainability and the school environment, will present proposals on how to organize volunteering at other events as well, or will provide recommendations for appealing to people for volunteering. During the lectures and discussions, the participants will also rely on the experience they gained at EYOF Banská Bystrica 2022.
The conference will take place on December 5, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the NH Gate One hotel, Ambrušova 7, Bratislava. The event is part of the European Sport Volunteers project, which is financed by the European Union within the Erasmus+ program.
