Good news for EYOF

The Government of the Slovak Republic approved full financial support for the organization of the European Youth Olympic Festival 2022 Banská Bystrica.
Negotiations on financial support for the EYOF took place for several months with the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic, the Value for Money Department, and members of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. The government finally confirmed the decision of the previous cabinet in 2019, which allocated the subsidy of 12 million EUR for the organization.
The government has also confirmed the amount of 900,000 EUR for the reconstruction of several sports venues that will serve for the EYOF.
