SUPPORT FOR NASTYA KUZMINA´S JOURNEY ALSO AT YOUR SCHOOL

The Olympic biathlon winner Anastasia Kuzmina, as the ambassador of the 16th Summer European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF), took place on a symbolic trip from Rome to Banská Bystrica, which will host the largest multi-sports event in the history of Slovakia from 24 to 30 July 2022. Pupils from the Slovak schools can also support her journey and at the same time, celebrate the Olympic Day.
The Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee, in cooperation with the EYOF organising committee, has been giving the Slovak school students the opportunity to take part in the final kilometers of the great sportswoman from the beginning of May. The schools, school groups or smaller groups need to complete only the final 200 kilometers together with Nastya by 24 June. The aim is to support the sport activities of children, young people in schools and the common joy of the active leisure time.
HOW TO JOIN?
Choose any sports activity (running, jumping, throwing, cycling, rollerblading or walking) within the physical education and sports classes or in the school sports clubs and write down the number of kilometers achieved each day in the tables annexed to this article. Then send it to ivana.motolikova@eyof2022.com.
GET TO THE FINISH AS A TEAM!
Individuals are unlikely to be able to cover the distance. But that doesn’t matter at all. The challenge is for the teams. Therefore, collect the mileage within a small group, the whole class or it is even possible to take part as a whole school together. The goal is to enjoy the activity and reach the goal together with Nastya.
HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU HAVE?
From the beginning of May to 24 June, when Anastasia Kuzmina symbolically reaches the finish line in Banská Bystrica.
COLLECT KILOMETRES, TAKE PICTURES, SHOOT VIDEOS!
Every day, put down the kilometers in the table in the sum of the whole group. Schools that manage the entire distance will receive a participant’s diploma signed by the Ambassador Nastya Kuzmina. Don´t forget to record everything. The most beautiful photos or videos will receive material prizes from the European Youth Olympic Festival and its partners.
