Representatives of the SOŠV, Banská Bystrica and the EYOF organising committee commemorated Olympic Day

Members of the organizing committee of the EYOF 2022 Banská Bystrica, representatives of the Slovak Olympic and Sport Committee (SOŠV), the city and the regional Olympic Club of Banská Bystrica celebrated Olympic Day and ran around the circuit next to the skating track in the Park under the SNP Memorial. They were also supported by the most successful Slovak Olympian Anastasia Kuzminová.
Several events are held throughout Slovakia every year on the occasion of Olympic Day. The Olympic Day runs are very popular in individual cities, but for preventive reasons they could not be held today in such numbers and with as many participants as in the past. In many places, they commemorated this sports holiday at least symbolically. The EYOF center, Banská Bystrica, was no exception.
The mayor of Banská Bystrica and the president of the EYOF 2022 organizing committee Ján Nosko, in addition to Anastasia Kuzminová and other athletes, were accompanied during the run by the executive director of the EYOF 2022 organizing committee Peter Korčok, the director of VŠC Dukla Banská Bystrica Roman Benčík and by the former successful walker, European 20 km champion Pavol Blažek.
